The Girl with the Runway Magic

We've been waiting to share this for SO long because one of favourite 'Things to do' aka 'Things we are dangerously obsessing over' is 'The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo's' star Rooney Mara's impeccable taste for all things style. As the girl works real hard and trots around the globe for the film's promotions, we get more and more chances to drool over her clothes. All the world's fashion watchers, media and paparazzi are glued to her social appearances and watching her every move for a reason. Although her pallate appears to be black, cream or white, we did spot Rooney in bright reds, green etc. and we praised the fashion lords, for we know that she is one fashion icon in the making.

But the toughest part she says, as she interviews for Allure, has been a complete transformation of all things goth for her role as the 'deeply damaged' persona of Swedish hacker Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo. For the movie her brown hair have been cut and dyed black to elaborate on the goth style of the 70s. Embracing the dark side has taken her long way ,the most astonishing aspect of which are the piercings, all of which she got in one day.On eyebrow, lip, and also chest piercing. From one bold road to the other. Next comes nudity, which according to Mara is "a huge part of the character in the book, so I never thought twice about it. There was no time for hesitation. I didn't have time to second-guess anything or be scared; I just showed up and was comfortable."
